 | Midlands winter throws title. 06 December, 2016 |  |
| Saturday 3rd December saw the Midlands winter throws pentathlon championships in Derby. I started well with a 24.87m hammer throw, but a poor 8.13m shot putt upset the apple cart a bit. Next up was the javelin and a 20.32m effort was better than recent competitions. The discus put me back into the lead with a 26.52m throw, and I secured the title with a 9.09m throw in the heavyweight hammer. My final score of 1862 points missed my personal best by only 21, so hopefully it is due for some serious revision soon!!! | ||
